2. What personal data we collect and why
2.1 Booking Requests
When submitting a booking request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred artist and data, and any additional notes.
Purpose: processing your booking and communicating with you about it.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: 7 years after the booking date for accounting and legal purposes.
2.2 Artist Portal
Artists associated with Obsidian Pulse Records access a restricted portal using a personal account. We process login credentials (username and encrypted password) and availability data entered by the artist.
Purpose: manager artist availability and bookings.
Legal basis: performance of the artist agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: for the duration of the artist relationship and 2 years thereafter.
2.3 Transactional emails
When the status of a booking changes (confirmed or cancelled), we send an automated email to the address provided in the booking form.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
2.4 Newsletters and mailing lists
We offer newsletters for fans and targeted communications for industry professionals (such as programmers, festivals, venues, radio stations, media companies,…). Each mailing list has a clear opt-in process and its own purpose described at the point of sign-up.
Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for fan newsletters; legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for B2B communications

2.6 Embedded content
Pages on this site may contain embedded content from third-party services (e.g. Youtube, social media). These services may independently collect data about you. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with email service providers (for sending confirmations and newsletters) and our hosting provider (for server-side storage). All processors are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with GDPR.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
