Talented band joins Obsidian Pulse

Obsidian Pulse Records is proud to announce their first signing. And not just any signing, but a massive one: Psyfix. Psyfix is a brand new band, but brings a new sound to the festivals, which is exactly what Obsidian Pulse wants.

With Rutger Peuteman and Yannick Reynders, the band brings together two members who were previously part of the doom and stonerrock formation Kevlar, with European Pop singer Sofie Jacobs. Adding experienced bass guitarist Bart Box and the talented guitar players Quentin ‘Q’ Plaetevoet and Ivo Wullaert, creates a mix that has never been seen before.

The potential of this band goes beyond the national borders. They’ve got everything that is required to break through. They sound fresh, yet still bring the classical metal vibes and commercial sounds together. Psyfix may as well become Belgium’s new international artist in time.

Their unique setup translates in powerful, yet melodical songs that can move any audience. Their music talks to metalheads, as well as more commercial music lovers. Psyfix is a band that will recreate the sound of Metal in a new hybrid form.

Psyfix’ first album, Unchained, is expected for release early february.
